NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts from Particle Media Inc. showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at 106K in late December 2021 and decreasing to around 77K by the end of March 2022. Despite the drop in downloads, the app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 3.3M and 3.5M throughout the quarter. The app saw minor revenue peaks, reaching $6 in the week of January 24.

Local News - Latest & Smart by EASE Group had a varied download trend, starting the quarter with 55K downloads and ending with 47K. The app's weekly active users grew steadily from 222K to 278K. Notably, this app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Opera News: breaking & local, published by Opera, experienced a consistent decline in downloads, from 58K in late December to 28K by the end of March. Weekly downloads also grew, starting at 38K and reaching 35K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a stable trend, maintaining around 200K throughout the period.
